THE LISTENING POST

ARE SOCIAL MEDIA APPS ADDICTIVE BY DESIGN?

For The Listening Post, I created dynamic motion graphics for a segment exploring the mental health crisis affecting teens and pre-teens in the United States, 20 years after the launch of Facebook. The piece examined the rise of social media platforms and their impact on young people’s mental well-being, alongside growing legal challenges faced by big tech companies accused of fueling harmful online environments. Through compelling visuals, I helped bring this important issue to life, highlighting the complex intersection of technology, mental health, and corporate responsibility.
