AFGHAN WOMEN'S PROTEST AGAINST FORCED CHADOR WEARING

In response to the Taliban's reinstatement of the mandatory chador (a full-body covering) for women in Afghanistan, Afghan women have taken to social media to voice their dissent and protest against this imposition on their freedom and rights.

Using hashtags such as #MyRedLine and #DoNotTouchMyClothes, Afghan women are sharing photos, videos, and personal stories to express their defiance and assert their right to choose how they dress. Many are sharing images of themselves wearing colorful and diverse clothing, symbolizing their desire for self-expression and autonomy.

International support and solidarity have poured in, with activists, organizations, and individuals around the world standing with Afghan women in their struggle for equality and dignity.
