Absolute Radio targeted roadside and in-car audiences in the next stage of its long-running outdoor advertising campaign

The national radio station has unveiled the latest phase of its 'Faces For Radio' campaign, featuring a live "now playing" feed on digital outdoor ads. This innovative approach utilised live RSS feeds to display the artist currently playing on Absolute Radio, providing consumers with an immediate and interactive sample of the station's playlist. The digital outdoor ads, enhanced with live RSS feeds, were designed to boost brand awareness and encourage listeners to try the station.

In addition to outdoor advertising, Absolute Radio launched a digital campaign to target online and mobile audiences. This included MPUs on third-party sites displaying "now playing" information, paid search, a homepage takeover on its own website, and banners across its mobile app network.
